I had the honor of serving as lead Consultant in the design and launch the Africa Youth in Trade Innovation Challenge Sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Partnership with the African Union (AU) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
This initiative prioritized Entrepreneurship, Export Development and Market Entry Strategy Development to expand the implementation phase and advancement of trade within the African Continental. Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). As lead Consultant and Executive Trainer for this initiative, I supported the leadership of UNPD Africa Desk in delivering a highly successful and impactful program. Following the launch of the scholarship application process, we received 2000+ applications from 50 African nations from after my assessment made recommendation for the top 80 candidates that were selected for enrollment into the week-long intense training initiative that I also delivered.
This program was designed to accelerate the implementation phase of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA). It included delivering executive level training on Entrepreneurship, Business Strategic Planning requirements, Market Entry Strategies, Export Development and Trade and Investment Facilitation under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
